JUST THAT MUCH LONGER

 

He said, “I’ve been here before, buried under snow, hand on the crank of the gramophone, all the love in the world cradled in the belly of the stove, falling to ash. Comes a time when the night sky reaches into your chest to claim that tiny spark as its own."

You know it’s winter when it goes on just that much longer than you can bear.
